Mostly guiding in the winter for trout, but may have openings for the spring and summer for other species and technical trips

Either on the fly or using a centerpin, most of the winter I spend trout fishing on various rivers throughout CT. My home river is the Salmon river in Colchester/East Hampton but will travel west to the Farmington somewhat regularly. Currently I am focusing on teaching the technique of float fishing with a centerpin set up, learning to read the water and proper equipment set up. At this time April thru October I am pretty booked up with my full-time job and fishing several bass tournament leagues, feel free to contact me for availability during this time if you want to book a technical trip (getting your hummingbird electronics dialed in)

Intro to float fishing trips

Want to learn how to float fish for trout? Thinking about stepping up to steelhead? This trip is for you, we aren't chasing trophy fish, but the catch numbers are pretty consistent. This trip is meant to learn the techniques and read the waters surface to find the spot the trout want to sit

Farmington river options

$150-$250

Want to fish the Farmington but don't know where to start? The trips up there can go a few ways, we can spend most of the time fishing but see less pools, or this can be an exploration trip to show you the river and some reliable spots but may not spend much time wetting a line.The second option is meant for local anglers looking to get started fishing this somewhat intimidating river and just want some help
